Cleopatra's Milk Bath

Did Cleopatra really bathe in milk?  We will probably never know for sure, but we do know that women have been bathing in milk for centuries for softer, smoother skin.  Science can now explain why it works; milk contains lactic acid, a type of alpha hydroxy acid.  Alpha hydroxy acids gently exfoliate the skin and assist in the generation of new skin cells, making the skin look smoother and younger.  Alpha hydroxy acids are now commonly used in skin care products.

Besides goat’s milk, this milk bath includes many other natural ingredients wonderful for the skin such as oat powder, honey powder, and sea salt.  It does not contain baking soda!  (Some milk baths on the market contain more baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) than goat milk!)  This product is also scent free which is great for those for sensitive skin.  If you prefer some scent, light a scented candle, use essential oils, or whatever you prefer.

Pour the desired amount (2 tbsp or 1/4 cup) under running water and enjoy!  This milk bath may get clumpy over time due to humidity but this does not compromise the product.

Ingredients:  Goat milk powder, Avena sativa (Oat) kernel flour, Sodium chloride, Honey powder

Hot Chocolate Milk Bath

Why add chocolate to a milk bath?  Because chocolate is an antioxidant, and it feels and smells great!  Exclusive hotels charge a lot for a spa treatment such as this, but you can stay home and enjoy it whenever it is convenient for a lot less!

Ingredients:  Goat milk powder, Magnesium sulfate (epsom salt), Theobroma Cacao (Cacoa) powder, Cinnamomun cassia
